ILAR is committed to support programs that lead to progress in the practice and education of rheumatology in countries where there is an exceptional need. As such, ILAR’s executive committee funded projects in 2010 from countries represented by AFLAR, APLAR, EULAR AND PANLAR. ILAR’s intent in funding these projects is to provide seed money to help initiate meritorious projects that would eventually be eligible for other sources of funding.
